The mission of this site is to honor the legacy of our veterans, preserve their story and sacrifice, and to keep the memory of the Second World War and its many lessons in the forefront of our minds. The artifacts you will see below are the physical testimony to one of the worlds saddest conflicts. It is important to remember that our veterans won the war, many of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom, and that of the rest of the world. The veterans wanted something to show for their efforts and time away from home, and as such they began taking souvenirs to bring back home with them. These war trophies were bought, sold, and traded while the war was going on, and long after the guns fell silent. We continue the veterans tradition of collecting the artifacts that they triumphantly brought back home. By collecting these artifacts, we are educating future generations, and preserving the memory of our veterans who showed courage and valor while fighting for our country. We strongly condemn any attempts at glorification, revisionist history, or anything other than academic scholarship in regards to the artifacts seen below.
