WW2 German Luftwaffe Boot Knife
Offered here is an exceptional example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe boot knife. These fighting knives were issued to mostly members of the Luftwaffe, and occasionally some army units. They are a robust knife and generally became multipurpose tools to the soldiers who carried them. The prongs on the outside clipped onto belts and the rims of boots well, hence the nickname of the boot knife. Overall the condition is very fine. The blade had some patination, but overall nice and bright with no chips or rust. The scabbard is especially nice, retaining 90% + of its original paint, and both prongs fully intact. These do not come much better than this, now is a great opportunity to put one aside!
