WW2 German Vehicle ID Flag

$495.00

Offered here is a very fine example of a WW2 German vehicle ID flag. These flags were thought to have been placed on top of trucks and tanks to avoid friendly fire incidents with aircraft. However, many historians have argued against that theory and suggest that it was simply an act of patriotism to have attached the flag to their vehicles. Whichever the case, German tank crews, and others placed these flags on their vehicles. Condition is quite nice, the flag roughly measures 35x22.5”, a very nice size for display!
