WW2 German Luger Holster 1939 Dated
Offered here is a very nice example of a WW2 German Luger Holster. This holster is brown leather, and nicely dated 1939. The date, manufacturer, and waffenampt eagle are very well marked and quite crisp. This holster is in decent condition, some wear spots, as well as some of the stitching missing on the back flap, which does not affect the flap at all with closing and opening, it’s very tight still. You can see this holster was period repaired as well. The take down tool is not present, which is typically the case. What is nice is that the holster was not cut down by a GI, nor is the fastening strap cut or missing, which also happens with high frequency. This holster was brought back buy a WW2 veteran and purchased from his estate.
