Civil War Named West Virginia Honorable Discharge Medal
Offered here is a very fine Civil War medal issued to a soldier from West Virginia who was honorably discharged after the war. This medal is named, and I have been told that Cunningham served in the 11th Regiment of Volunteer Infantry. I have not researched the veteran so this could be a very nice research project for a collector. The medal is made of bronze, finely detailed and is complete with the original ribbon. There is one small spot of patina on the medal, but other than that it is very nice and displays quite well!
