Italian Fascist Youth Organization Arm Shield Roma
Offered here is a very nice example of a WW2 era Italian fascist youth organization arm sheild. These shields were wore by members of the youth organization (similar to Hitler Youth), the shield would denote where the member resided. In this case, this shield would have been worn by a member from Rome. The condition is fairly good, male/female buttons have been installed by a tailor on the reverse, so the Armshield could be snapped into place rather than being stitched. Some paint is missing on the right hand side, which is very indicative for these types of shields. Being worn on the arm, they were subject to being worn against doorways, train cars, in and out of barracks. This one is a very nice example!
