WWI British Named Medal Grouping
Offered here is a very nice named medal grouping to a British NCO who served during the First World War. Norman was a Sgt in the Royal Engineers, who was shipped off to France in 1915. It’s very likely that his meritorious Service medal was awarded for the clearing of mines and booby traps. Each medal is officially engraved with Normans name on the rim. Named British medals from the Great War don’t come up often, especially outside of the UK. This is a very fine set that displays quite well!
