WW2 German HJ Knife Anton Wingen Jr
Offered here is a nice solid example of a Hitler Youth knife produced by the Anton Wingen firm in Solingen Germany. This knife is an early production example and features the motto on the obverse of the blade. On the reverse of the blade you can see the makers mark. The scabbard at some point was repainted, but was done well and does not stick out terribly. The condition of this knife is very well used, as one can imagine the people who carried these knives were boys, they played with them and even threw them into trees! Any collector of Hitler Youth knives will know how hard it is to find early examples with the motto present! A very nice original example!
