WW2 German Stag-Gripped Parade Bayonet KREBS
Offered here is a very uncommon WW2 German dress bayonet by the Krebs firm. This bayonet is equipped with period artificial stag grips. This was an option given to the soldiers when they ordered their bayonets, the soldier who owned this example opted to upgrade to the artificial stag, but not wanting to spend the money for the more expensive genuine stag. Overall this bayonet is in very nice shape, the scabbard retains much of its original paint and the leather frog is stull strong. Krebs is not a maker that is often seen, especially on dress bayonets, making this one very uncommon!
