WW2 German M34 Fire Police Helmet
Offered here is a very nice example of a WW2 German fire police helmet. This helmet would have been worn by a member of the fire/police organization during the Third Reich. This helmet features really interesting modifications. You can see where the protective neck flap, and comb were removed from the helmet. On the crown of the helmet you can see where the holes from where the comb was mounted, has been plugged with steel. These modifications were likely done towards the end of the war when necessity took over, and made these modifications for better use in the field. What is nice about this helmet is that the chin strap is still present, typically when you find these the chin strap and decals are not there or badly damaged. A common helmet, in uncommon condition!
