WW2 German Luftwaffe Boot Knife
Offered here is a very fine example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe boot knife. These knives were typically carried by Luftwaffe crew members and pilots. They’re just an all-purpose knife meant to be used for any purpose really. There is some patina on the blade, but just surface and nothing very serious. Otherwise the condition is very fine, most importantly the two prongs on the scabbard are not broken, as they typically are found. Blade retains much cross grain, is waffenampt marked, and the scabbard retains nearly all of its original paint. Overall a very fine piece!
