WW2 German Afrika Korps Jacket
Offered here is an exquisite example of a jacket worn by a member of the DAK (Deutches Afrika Korps). This jacket is the early 1st model tropical jacket. The shoulder boards are indeed original, and are collected in their own right. The eagle was added to the tunic later (as with the majority of German uniforms), but it is 100% correct and original. This jacket is in stunning condition, with no damage, it is truly mint. Many tropical items are passed off as “Afrika Korps”, however this early pattern jacket is truly DAK. It will be nearly impossible to find a mintier example than this one!
