WW2 British Pakistani Named Medal
Offered here is a very fine example of a British service medal issued to a soldier who after the 1947 Partition of India, resided in the newly formed Pakistan. Over 2 million men from present day India & Pakistan served in the British Indian Army in all theatres of WW2. After the War the former British Empire issued these medals to commemorate the service of their former Indian subjects.
I have not tried to research the soldier who’s name is engraved, so that could be an interesting and worthwhile research project. Condition is very nice all around, no conditional issues that I can see!
