WW2 Era Spanish M42 "Modello Z" Helmet
Offered here is a very fine example of a WW2 Era Spanish produced M1942 helmet often referred to as the “Modello Z”. These helmets were produced by fascist Spain during the rule of Francisco Franco, they were heavily based off of the German M1940 design. This helmet is in near mint condition, with original paint and leather liner/chinstrap. I believe this helmet was WW2 production and not from the 60’s or 70’s because of the early leather construction, the ones that were enhanced in the 1970’s were replaced with canvas chinstraps and such. Overall this is a very fine helmet!
