WW2 German 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger Eickhorn
Offered here is a very nice example of a WW2 German second model Luftwaffe dagger made by Eickhorn. The very interesting part of this dagger would be that this dagger features a very late production Eickhorn trademark, seldom seen in the market. Another distinguishing feature is that the gilt on both of the pommel swastikas are still present, typically the gold gilt is totally gone. The blade has one or two spots of patination, but overall very nice with no major damage and still shines bright. The scabbard is also free of any serious dings or dents, and retains much of its airplane grey finish. Overall this is a very nice and somewhat uncommon dagger because of that late production Eickhorn trademark.
