WW2 German Afrika Korps Tropical Webbed Bayonet Frog
Offered here is a very fine example of a WW2 German Afrika Korps tropical frog. This frog is made from a very nice and sturdy webbed canvas material. The frog still retains its cross straps, often times these are missing. The reverse of the frog features a very nice ink stamping as well. The obverse of the frog features some staining, possibly blood but I will leave that to the buyer to determine, could be motor oil just as easily. Overall this frog is in fine shape, missing some of the leather backing on the cross strap, but as one could imagine leather did not last long under the African sun.
