WW2 German Fire-Police NCO Visor Cap

$450.00

Offered here is a very fine example of a WW2 era German Fire-Police visor cap for an NCO. Much like the rest of German government during the Third Reich, almost all facets of government was militarized, and their servants wore military uniforms. This cap would have been worn by a non-commissioned officer in the Fire-Police. The colors of the cap denote that this belonged to the Fire-Police, and the leather chin strap denote that this was intended for an NCO, since an officers would have a bullion chin strap. The condition of this cap is really fantastic, I cannot see a single moth nip or any sign of serious damage. What is my personal favorite would be the perfect saddle shape that the cap still shows after all these years. A truly fine piece of headgear!
