WW2 Japanese Type 30 Bayonet Tokyo Arsenal
For sale is a very nice example of a WW2 Japanese type 30 bayonet. This bayonet is a pre-1942 manufacture since the hooked quillion is still present, post 1942 the Japanese in an effort to save time and resources began to remove the quillion from the guard. The blade shows clear signs of age and patination, however it appears to be unsharpened and free of dings and dents. The scabbard is also very nice, there is a very small hole in the back of the scabbard (pictured), other than that the scabbard is in very nice condition. It is very difficult to find Japanese bayonets in such fine shape.
