WW2 German Dress Sword Early Herder
Offered here is a very lovely early D-guard dress sword featuring the panther head design. This sword was produced by the Richard Herder firm, known for quality edged weapons during the Third Reich. This sword is not only a nice early example, but the sword retains the overwhelming majority of its original finish, as well as nice and tight early grip wire, and a grip that is free of any cracks. The scabbard is also quite nice, usually sword scabbards are found with many dings and dents, this example is free of that. The typical wear marks throughout but truly in a nice state of preservation. Overall this is a really dynamite dress sword!
