WW2 German Dress Sword Ernst Pack & Sohne
Offered here is a very fine example of a WW2 German officers dress sword. This example is an early “dove head” featuring early grip wire. E Pack produced this sword with a copper plated aluminum brass gilt. Very uncommon to see this type of gilt being used, not surprised coming from the Pack firm, as they were always doing something slightly different to remain competitive. The gilt looks almost like a rose gold color, and is very aesthetically pleasing. The grip is free of cracks, grip wire is nice and tight, blade is clean, and the scabbard is very nice and free of dings, dents, or large swaths of missing paint. This is an excellent opportunity to own an early and uncommon sword!
