WW2 German Early Fireman's Helmet Repaint
Offered here is a very nice and interesting early fireman’s helmet. This helmet was at some point in its life recycled to a different service and was repainted. I would imagine that this helmet was repainted in an attempt to make it more camouflaged for urban combat. However it is up to the next caretaker to decide if they keep the paint or strip it back down to the original paint. Complete with leather liner and chinstrap. Overall a very nice and early example of a fireman’s helmet that had a long service life!
